Patchwork Show Sacramento Spring 2024 – RECAP
Our season so far is having quite unusual weather! Last weekend, Redwood City experienced sideways rain, almost reaching hurricane levels, while this weekend, we were greeted with scorching 95-degree sun. Despite the heat, we were thrilled to celebrate Mother’s Day at the Waterfront in Old Sacramento!
Nestled between the historic Delta King and the iconic California State Railroad Museum, complete with its working train offering rides throughout the day, we found solace in the slight breeze from the Sacramento River amidst the the sweltering heat.
Although our first season in Sacramento was smaller than expected, we had some fantastic vendors, and guests were enthusiastically shopping and enjoying themselves, especially with their moms, and stopping by our DIY stations along the way. For this show, our DIY activities included:
- Making a perfume mist with Soul SiSTAR Mystique Aromachaura
- Hair bows with fabric scraps with Dottie & Mae
- Our Community Partner, Atrium 916, is a collective of local makers dedicated to fostering a sustainable circular economy. Their workshop space offers many craft workshops, including: Sculpting a clay magnet and Painting canvases, tote bags, and reusable cutlery bags. You can even play their mini grand piano, giant connect-four, chess, or hang out and connect with community in their welcoming and warm space!
See you there!

Spaulding is not joking, it was a scorcher. The Patchwork Team ran a very professional show and being the first time at this venue, the location selection was on point: the foot traffic was amazing. Such a wonderful day for both sales, customer interaction, and small business support. Thank you for running a great show.
Thank you for your feedback Richard. We look forward to seeing you at our next show there. 🙂
